Secrets of The Bush - Shepherd's Bush Cricket Club

Shepherd's Bush has many secret places; but few are more tranquil - and unexpected - than the Shepherd's Bush Cricket Club. 

Located at the north end of Bromyard Avenue, just off the Uxbridge Rd (and, technically, in Acton) the SBCC has been hosting cricket matches in our neighbourhood since 1882.

Today, the SBCC offers teaching and training to local youngsters on summer evenings, while parents watch the sun go down with a pint in the architecturally uninspiring - but very welcoming - cricket pavilion.   

It's a friendly, welcoming place, a green oasis in a part of town seldom described as "leafy". To play, spectate or otherwise get involved, visit the official site of the SBCC.
