Escape Studios Hosting "Animation Taster Day" Tomorrow in Shepherd's Bush for Just £5

Escape Studios, the animation and visual effects school based in Shepherd's Bush, have two seats left for their "Animation Taster Day" at Escape Studios tomorrow, Thursday 9 June.

Escape are running this animation taster day as part of Hammersmith and Fulham Arts Fest, to help give future animators an idea of what it's like to work in the  industry.

Fancy working in the movie business, on 3D animated films? You career as an animator begins here, and the whole day of training costs just £5. Escape will even provide lunch.

What's this all about?
This one-day taster course is designed to "give you get an introduction to the art of 3D Animation" as well as to "explore what it’s like to work as a professional animator". Escape Studios will "take you through the 3D animation process from start to finish, ending up with a finished movie file".

What kind of animation does Escape Studios teach?
Escape Studios "teaches 3D character and creature animation, with a strong focus on getting our students into paid employment in the  animation and visual effects industry".

What will you learn?
Working with tools such as Autodesk Maya and the Adobe Creative Suite, you’ll get "a hands-on introduction to 3D Animation techniques".

By the end of the day "you will have your very own piece of finished animation uploaded to YouTube".
