FOSBG Gains Formal Recognition from LBHF

Can Shepherd's Bush Green be a better place?
The Friends of Shepherds Bush Green (FOSBG) has now been formally recognised by The London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham as the “principal user group” for Shepherd's Bush Green.

This means that from now on FOSBG will be the main point of liaison between our local council and local residents - when it comes to matters concerning The Green.

Shepherd's Bush Green - could it be better?
Until recently Shepherd's Bush Green has not had an active "friends" group, and has often felt like a neglected corner of our borough, a poor relation to more attractive parks such as nearby Holland Park or Ravenscourt Park.

The aim of FOSBG is to try improve Shepherd's Bush Green, and make it a more attractive place for local people to visit.

Chair - Jonathan Pearl
Jonathan Pearl, Chair of FOSBG, is in the process of organising a meeting of local stakeholders to start generating ideas for the improvement of Shepherd's Bush Green.

The aim is to work with the police, our local council, and other community groups to make our neglected Shepherd's Bush Green a better place.
