Shepherd's Bush Council Taxes are scheduled to rise very significantly - as much as 150% -as the Government changes the way it funds local councils. 

Because Shepherd's Bush is located within the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (LBHF), its rates are tied directly to the local authority budget.  And these are in dire straits.

The Hammersmith Society has come out in opposition to the new Cycle Path Proposal for Holland Park Roundabout, and is looking to raise funds for a judicial review of the project. 

The Hammersmith Society opposes the cycle path on the grounds that it will make cycling across the roundabout less safe, not more.  The Society also argues that the new scheme will cause greater traffic congestion in an already congested area.

The Shepherd's Bush Cricket Club won the ECB National Club Championship on 17th September, beating every other cricket club in England to become national champions for 2026.  

The National Club Championship is the highest honour in club cricket, and the biggest win for the Shepherd's Bush Cricket Club since its founding in 1882.
