The Hammersmith Society opposes the cycle path on the grounds that it will make cycling across the roundabout less safe, not more. The Society also argues that the new scheme will cause greater traffic congestion in an already congested area.

The anticipated legal costs are around £60,000. for a Judicial Review. Local businesses, organisations and resident groups have already contributed, but SOS still need to raise over £15,000.
