"Race For Life" at Hammersmith Academy on 19th June

Race for Life on Friday 19 June
Hammersmith Academy is hosting their annual Race for Life event. The event takes place on 19th June between 12 – 4pm and is being held to support Cancer Research. Highlights include a large fête with many stalls, a stage with performances and music, a prize giving ceremony and of course a 5K race around the grounds of the school.

What's this about?
A 5k Race For Life hosted by Hammersmith Academy, in support of Cancer Research

Who's coming?
Celebrity guests include Emily Maitlis - and others to be announced. 

What's happening?
All sorts of stuff. There is a prize giving, a fête with many stalls, a stage with performances and music, games, challenges, ice cream, a prize giving ceremony and of course a 5K race around the grounds of the school

Who is invited?
All are welcome. Local primary schools and youth groups have been invited, but the organisers describe the event as "a wonderful occasion for local businesses, the whole community, especially West London’s young adults. Imagine the end of the film Grease, but in London and with a big charity race!"
