Albertine Re-Opens on 4th July

Saturday fourth of July is not only American Independence Day but also re-opening day for many restaurants and pubs in the UK.

Our local wine bar, The Albertine is to re-open, and are hosting a soft launch/private opening for their neighbours on Saturday 4th July from 5pm to 7.30.

Under the new rules there are 22 tickets available and people will be seated at tables.  You can buy a ticket on the Albertine reservation system for £15.00

Albertine Wine Bar
Allegra McEvedy at the Albertine

The Albertine is one of Shepherd's Bush's best wine bars, founded and run by celebrity chef Allegra McEvedy, who has been tenaciously fighting to survive the economic consequences of Covid-19 - by re-inventing itself as a take-out and home delivery kitchen and food shop.

BBC Heritage
The Albertine was a favourite BBC watering hole on Wood Lane - and still one of the most civilised places to drink in our neighbourhood.  It is also a place that made history - it's where where the very first EastEnders script was written.

Now, at last, The Albertine is re-opening, and you can book your seat at the official link below:

What your £15 gets you
When you get to the wine bar there is a voucher for two drinks, the house white, red, rose, beer or soft drinks and there will be bruschettas, tapenade, little nibbles to each table.

Opening Times for Bar and Shop
Tues-Fri 12pm-11pm
Sat 4pm-11pm

Book at the Website
You can book tables at the website from Tuesday, 7th July. There is a reduced seating capacity, and it is wise to book ahead.

Other things to note

  • Albertine is only open on the ground floor
  • No parties over six
  • No more than two households, or support bubbles, should mix on a table
  • Walk-ins will still be accepted, but we will no longer have tables set aside: the government rules are that folks rocking up without a reservation will have to wait outside to be seated and fill in a form for contact tracing for each guest.
  • No cash, only card payments.
