What is the Macfarlane Rd Residents's Assocation? It's a local residents' group that gathers quarterly in Shepherd's Bush to try and improve our local neighbourhood. Our next meeting is on 29 January, so if you're a local and you'd like to get involved, come along and have your say.
What's this all about?
Getting local stuff done. The Macfarlane Road Residents' Association gathers quarterly in Shepherd's Bush to try and improve our local neighbourhood.
How do we make things better?
Macfarlane Road Residents' Association, like most residents' associations, works with the Council and the police to represent the views of local people, and try to make the local neighbourhood a better place to live. We try to do more than just complain - we find positive, constructive solutions for problems like parking, anti-social behaviour, and other local difficulties. We work on the principle that our local council wants to help us - we just have to show them how.

If you live locally, chances are you got the October 2018 newsletter in hard copy pushed through your door. If you missed it, you can read the local news below.
What exactly do we do?
Macfarlane Road Residents' Association works with the Council and the police on licensing issues, helping to make sure that local licensed premises are good neighbours. We meet quarterly, approximately every three months, usually in the evenings, and generally for no more than an hour. After all, people are busy, and no-one likes long meetings.
The next meeting is on January 29th. If you live locally and you would like to get involved, email secretary Alexander Williams at shepherdsbushblog@gmail.com. All residents are encouraged to attend meetings and share their concerns. You genuinely can make a difference.
