For one day only Brook Green undergoes its annual transformation into a giant family-friendly funfair from noon until 6pm.
Brook Green Day is an annual event, organised by the highly efficient Friends of Brook Green, who we all have to thank for the excellent playground (top swings, and a brilliant slide); one of the best in West London.
Brook Green Day is a great day - big, boisterous and full of families.

The only downside to Brook Green Day is how busy it gets, especially after lunch, with long lines for the big tentpole attractions like the bouncy castle and the helter skelter. Our advice is to get there early, beat the crowds, and then beat a retreat when it gets too busy.

Now, if only we could figure out a way to do something like this for unloved Shepherd's Bush Green. What about a family-friendly Shepherd's Bush Green Day?
