Today is Brook Green Fair Day!

Today is Brook Green Fair Day!  This is a community event which was started by the Friends of Brook Green in 2010 as a way to "bring the whole community together". According to the FBG, "The Western Lawn is transformed into a fairground/fete and the day offers children and adults a host of activities."

Other stuff includes a "highly competitive dog show" which takes place during the afternoon and "an array of delicious food stalls are available throughout the day". This year the helter skelter will be back and the cake stand will be "bigger and better than ever". The event begins at 12 noon and finishes at 6pm.  Volunteers are always needed for this event, as are accomplished bakers.
