About the PSPO
A PSPO, created by the 2014 Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act, is intended to deal with "particular nuisances or problems in a defined area that affects the local community’s quality of life". This is done by imposing restrictions on the use of that area. The aim is to "stop individuals or groups committing antisocial behaviour in public spaces".

Shepherd's Bush Station
Shepherd's Bush Tube Station can get very noisy, especially on weekends, with all sorts of political and religious groups competing for attention with music and loud hailers.

According to LBHF, they "consulted widely on this issue over during spring 2016 and the overwhelming response was that something should be done to address noisy busking, street entertainment and amplified public speaking outside Shepherds Bush Station". They therefore took the step of introducing the PSPO.

  1. Love the music and happy vibe outside the station but got to get rid of all those hectoring Street Preachers spewing their violent intolerant views.
