St Stephen's Garden |
St Stephen's relies entirely on volunteers to help maintain the church and its grounds. It's a family-friendly event, and children are very welcome.
Got an hour or two spend on the first saturday of every month? Perhaps you have green fingers and - like most of us in the Bush - a tiny or non-existent garden?

St Stephen's |
You don't need any kit, though St Stephen's normally asks volunteers who do have their own gloves, trowels etc., to bring them along - and if they bring other tools to keep an eye on them. For those without tools, the church has a variety of tools that guests can use.
About St Stephen's
St Stephen's is a church with a broad and diverse congregation, reflecting the diversity of our local area. It also has a long history of social activism.
In 1966 the vicar John Asbridge, frustrated by the chronic shortage of local housing, set up the Shepherds Bush Housing Association which continues to house thousands of local people to this day.
On Mondays St Stephen's serves a hot meal to up to 100 homeless people. To read more about St Stephen's, follow this link. And to find out more about their roof appeal, see the official website here.
